Joyned can be synced with Planning Center groups to automatically create Joyned chat Communities for each group and ensure all group details and member lists remain in sync.
If your organisation is preparing to activate the sync function, below are a some steps your group leaders must take before the sync to make sure it is a success:
- Update your group members' email addresses: The new system will sync Joyned and Planning Center using members’ email addresses, so if you have not added email addresses for all your group members on Planning Center, please add any missing email addresses for your group on Planning Center.
- Let your group members know: Give your members a heads-up so they know to expect the Joyned invitation when sync is turned on. If you haven’t already, give a little context that Joyned is a tool to help people get and stay connected and in the loop within your organisation.
