Integrating Planning Center Services with Joyned is an efficient way to manage your teams and events. Here’s a step-by-step guide to set up and sync groups:
Step 1: Connect Your Planning Center Account to Joyned*
*If you have already done this skip straight to step 2
- Log into Joyned and navigate to the Settings page in the admin area.
- Making sure you're logged into Planning Center, click the Connect to Planning Center button. This links your Planning Center profile with Joyned, enabling integration.
Step 2: Select the Area for Integration
- Go to the Areas tab in Joyned.
- Select the Area where you want to sync Planning Center teams (e.g., Worship Team).
- Inside the selected Area, click Create Community to set up a community group.
Step 3: Create a Group from Planning Center
- Click the Create from Planning Center button.
- Select the service plan for the event you’ve created in Planning Center. For example:
- Choose the Special Events plan.
- Select the specific date, e.g., 25th December.
- Choose the team you want to sync, such as the Band.
Step 4: Adjust Group Details
- Review and update the group’s settings:
- Set the group expiry date.
- Configure post history to ensure new members can see previous communications.
- Click Create to finalise the group setup.
Step 5: Create Additional Groups (Optional)
- To create another group, repeat the steps above:
- Select a different Area if needed, or stay within the same one.
- For instance, create a group for the Cafe Team within the same service plan and date.
- Follow the same process to review and update group settings.
- Click Create to add the group.
Step 6: Notify Team Members
When the groups are created, invitations are automatically sent to team members. They will receive notifications to join the group and access its content.
This integration streamlines communication and team management for your events and services. If you have further questions or need assistance, contact our support team for help.
